OUR MISSION
Our mission at Empower Booth is to supply college students in Northern California with resources that are available to them in times of need. By compiling information about various organizations on a single platform, students can quickly and effectively find resources nearest to either their community college or four-year university. Empower Booth represents a library of safe spaces.
TACKLING THE ISSUE
Empower Booth helps to ensure that students from across Northern California are better prepared to manage difficult situations they may encounter. According to the Rape, Abuse, & Incest Network, 11.2% of all students experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation on college campuses. We are invested in serving as a bridge between students and local resources that deliveries a supportive and informative environment.
SUPPORT SERVICES
Through offering information about local resources for sexual assault and domestic violence, we have the potential to create a real and positive change in the community of Northern California. One of our key areas of focus at Empower Booth is to be a source of support. Sexual violence represents a very difficult and painful topic. We want to empower all survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence by providing them with the tools to empower themselves.
